Student Reviews & Testimonials
Narendra
Saheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) is amongst one of the better college in India for commerce stream and definitely worth considering for other streams as well. The college although is small comparatively to other top college our principal lord atree is doing it's best to improve itself. The college consists of around 3000 morning and 3100 evening college people ranging from 1st year to final year. Academics is (8.5/10): Our commerce and eco faculty is goated, shoutout to miss pallavi manchanda and miss soumya verma they are among sweetest staff members. While commerce faculty is strict they do their job pretty well you could blame large batch size of 60+ students which might be causing inefficient teaching. College Life is (4/10): Vast number of du students aren't from delhi and this college not having a hostel and nearby area being expensive does a very good job at making a dent in your pocket. Which contributes to bad college life experiences. Different people might have different experience i for myself isn't in any society or have a friend group so that might skewed the experience. Overall my experience has been a mixed bag especially with strict attendence policy which has been recently announced here.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is a co-ed institute which was established in 1967. It is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. The college is a part of the South Campus and is located at Sheikh Sarai Phase II. Chirag Delhi, Panchsheel park and Greater kailash, are the nearest metro stations. The college commerce courses has very good placements. Infrastructure is good but the campus is small as in all DU colleges. The canteen food was not good when I visited the campus. SBSC has both the morning and evening college.
