All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh was approved in February, 2009 under Phase-II of Pradhan Mantri Sawasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) at an approved cost of Rs. 823 crore. The State Government had agreed to provide 148 acres of land. A Gazette Notification was issued on 13th August, 2013 for establishment of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Rae Bareli. The Government of Uttar Pradesh transferred land measuring 97 acres out of already agreed 148 acres to the Central Government in July, 2013 for establishment of AIIMS Rae Bareli. The remaining 51 acres of land in under acquisition by the State Government and is expected to be provided in due course. The Ministry appointed M/s HSCC (India) Ltd as project management consultant for the project in July, 2013. All OPD has been starting since last year. All OPD consultants are available in the new building except psychiatry department and addiction centre which is running in old OPD building. Medical College campus is also under the main campus of college. Due to starting of AIIMS Raebareli, peoples/patients from Allahabad and Lucknow Region have one more big option like SGPGI. The hospital is located at 750 MTR towards crossing side from Munshiganj market, Raebareli. You can have all test facilities and pharmacy as well inside the campus.

You can get your treatment here at very low cost First you have to do a registration at the counter for ₹10 and after that you can go to doctor for treatment. Cantine is also available in AIIMS
