This college is situated in Manorama junction. It's one of the best women's colleges in Kerala.Hostel facilities are also available.

A college for women working in Kottayam from 1955....allmost all levels of education in degree and pg level are available here... situated close to the national highway in the heart of the city....managed by the sisters...

Very good College for women's. Well dedicated teaching/ non teaching staff. My daughter completed Bsc food science and quality control this year. Being a expatriate from United Arab Emirates, I was communicated many times over telephone with HOD food science and teachers to know progress /educational related matters of my daughter. All are well responded and given valuable directions to me .Also hostel telephone facility appreciable .

BCM college is a womens college in the heart of kottayam. One of the best college in kottayam

Phone not allowed in college. We can't capture sweet moments in college. Full of buildings, no nature beauty. We can't enjoy the real college moments.. Strict teachers. Legeens restricted. We can't cut classes. Poor canteen. Less arrangements for sit in outside areas. No freedom. I feel that was a school. Not like a college.

It's a good clg according to some of students in that clg told sometime and in some occasions they experienced it like aa school feel.......Hostel system is also good and parents can trust them

Worst experience . 20th October 2022, opted for an MSW management seat HOD Dr. Iype Varghese Sir was keen to take the cash deposit and original degree certificates without giving any kind of receipt for either to ensure the applicant holds no proof against the department or BCM college. Later when we wanted our money back as we didn't take admission he gave back the certificates and deducted Rs. 10000/- as expenses for MSW field work . When I requested to please give back the deducted Rs. 10000/- he started getting angry and literally abusive. Mr. Iype was so keen to deduct the money and cunningly stayed away from me until I left his department office. I asked him having a doctorate with more than 25 plus years of teaching experience how can he head a department and be a good example ever. It was a bad experience and a nightmare for me trying to get a seat under management.Also BCM does not provide college hostel for MSW students. The students are forced to stay as paying guests in nearby places outside the college premises recommended by the MSW department office team.I went to the Principal to report and raise my grievance and since the Principal was not there, I was directed to the office secretary Fr. Philmon Kalathara who heard the entire story and then told me he can't help as the deducted money is taken by the department of MSW for meeting field work expenses. I requested an official receipt for the money deducted and he immediately denied it. And to send me out of his office he kept both of his hands on his head saying I am an headache and causing a lot of stress to him when I was humbly pleading for the deducted money. Later from the BCM college site MSW department I came to know Fr. Philmon Kalathara is second in line in the department. I felt really sad that a priest has such a bad character though he has learnt , acquired and practice Theology to date.Please do think twice before dealing with BCM college authorities who do not issue any proof of receipt for adv cash deposit for management seat. Later they deduct an amount they like and there is no way you can prove it as there is no proof of deposit given .
