An extraordinary university with a gorgeous campus and excellent modern architecture, some of it by renowned Indian architect B.V. Doshi.The architecture also responds to the tropical climate. The sunken, multi-level library is housed in an internal, climate controlled structure encased within a larger, multiple storey external shell entered at ground level that has multi-storey, internal voids surrounding the perimeter with enormous, louvered panels to provide protection from wind and rain while allowing cross-ventilation from all four sides.

The campus design, with its functional elegance and sustainable practices, fosters an atmosphere of learning, collaboration, and creativity. The place is accessible to differently abled citizens. Good security measures. The library is amazing, but literature's mostly kindred. Friendly and inclusive student body. Wonderful for art exhibits.

It was a good university in every way imaginable, the landscaping was amazing, the students were amazing and kind and keen to show us around, and the study spaces of the classrooms and library was also a delight to visit. It was clearly shown that the university had responded to the challenge of a massive population with such a massive university ground capable of fitting thousands of students. Its infrastructure allowed it to be a resting place many students could study at during both the winter and summer months, and it was quite amazing to see students hard at work. However, I will say the university could use more ramps for those who are challenged in walking up and down stairs, as it may prove hard to enter some of the upper floors without a ramp.We were lucky enough that we visited when the architectural students were displaying their work, and we got first-hand experience in seeing what the assessments were like in a foreign country and contrasting it to our own. It was a fantastic experience and a must do if you are also a student.

CEPT(Centre Of Environmental Planning and Technology) is a well known reputed university which predominantly offers courses namely architecture, Urban designing, Interior Designing and School of building science and Technology. The university offers both UG and PG courses. The entrance in the UG courses is through NATA.The campus of the university is very calm and beautiful. The atmosphere inside the campus takes you somewhere else far away from the noisy unpleasant weather. inside the campus there are total 4 canteens one of which is of Torritos.I visited the university for the very first time recently. It was amazing and beautiful inside. CEPT is famous for its library. There are total 3 basements if which the third basement is exclusively for thesis and research purpose. Also there are two floors above. The library is very beautifully and perfectly designed to provide the exact surroundings for the students to study as well as refresh at the same time. Individual cabins are also provided to give each student it's privacy to work.Overall the environment is very quiet and polite inside the campus. I suggest you all to visit it atleast once.

The campus is one of the best place to hangout. Alongwith a great canteen, basic amenities and a stunning library; it is a good college for students / professionals who are wishing to pursue urban planning, design and other courses. In love with the campus.

The Centre for Environment Planning & Technology was established as the School of Architecture in 1962, by The Ahmedabad Education Society (AES), followed by the School of Planning, School of Building Science and Technology and School of Interior Design in 1972, 1982 and 1991 respectively, which were established with aid from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the Government of Gujarat and the Ford Foundation. Best architecture university ever, here you can learn differnt thing, if you are an architecture students then you to must visit this university. The work here is at next level. Student friendly atmosphere with passive cooling methods and a soothing colour pallette .Outdoor spaces and seating areas are given equal importance as indoor spaces .
