Having visited 4 years here, The Psychiatry OPD is always handled by juniors and the main doctors either spend their time in their rooms eating or chatting on WhatsApp. I have never seen a single senior doctor whose name the juniors take a stamp on the prescriptions.Whether be it Senior Doctors viz., Tiple or Mahajan they are least interested to serve the people but absent on their respective times. They should be terminated for this malpractice. The only good doctor Dr. Pranjalee Bhagat has left the hospital, sadly who actually attended patients. Other doctors roam around drinking tea, and keep tricking people that they are visiting the Psychiatric Ward on the first floor. That's how selfish these people are! We pay taxes from which the doctor pays them the salaries and instead of serving the community, this is what is happening there. The horrid way the juniors talk to psychiatric patients is appalling. I wish the Dean took notice of what's going on in this OPD.

I am deeply saddened and disappointed by the care my father-in-law received at Government Medical College, Nagpur. Despite being admitted for treatment, the lack of proper medical attention, insufficient staff, and overall poor management led to a tragic loss. It is concerning that there was no immediate action taken to address the issues at hand. I urge the relevant authorities to investigate this matter seriously and take corrective measures to ensure that others do not experience such negligence. A more responsive healthcare system is crucial to saving lives, and we must not overlook the need for improvement in facilities like this.
