OR Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)/Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/Bachelor of Science (Engineering) (B.Sc.(Engg.)) degree in relevant specialization or equivalent degree with minimum 7.5 CGPA/70% marks, and valid GATE score/NET qualification. OR Master of Science (M.Sc)/Master of Arts (M.A)/Master of Commerce (M.Com)/MBA or equivalent degree with minimum 6.5 CGPA/60% marks and valid GATE/NET/UGC/CSIR/NBHM or equivalent qualification or any national level fellowship with relevant subject.

Credits: Minimum 12 credits (for M.Tech/M.E. candidates) or 16 credits (for B.E./B.Tech candidates) including Research Methodology and Comprehensive Viva-Voce. Credits
Assessment: Internal: Grading for coursework is on a 10-point scale. Annual progress seminars and reviews are conducted., External: Comprehensive Viva-Voce Examination (2 credits), Research Synopsis Seminar, Thesis Examination by external examiners, and Final Thesis Defense Viva-Voce.
