Eligibility:

  • Master’s degree in Science/Humanities/Social Sciences with minimum 6.0 CGPA/55% marks, along with a valid GATE/UGC-NET/CSIR-JRF or equivalent score. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from IITs/IISc with minimum 8.0 CGPA. Candidates with Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology with minimum 8.0 CGPA are exempted from GATE/UGC-NET/CSIR-JRF. Relaxations for SC/ST/PwD candidates as per Government of India rules.

Duration: Minimum 2 years (for M.Tech/M.S. holders) to 3 years (for B.Tech/B.S./M.Sc. holders). Maximum 7 years.
