Great spacious campus with ample greenery surrounded by hills on all sides.Positive environment, great location and good place for education and research.

IIT Palakkad is a good institute. PhD and MS research.Once again I will come to this institute.

Excellent campus in the making. The design of the new campus is to be appreciated and students are moving there very soon. The landscape and buildings are very much aligned and the buildings are named after different ragas. I am sure this newest IIT will soon become the favourite for students and the faculty and will give a tough competition to other IITs.

Proud to see India’s pioneer institute of technology & science at Palakkad. The campus is so vast & beautiful. It’s constructed & landscaper with a vision to blend with the nature. With ultra modern research labs & teaching facilities, this campus is a dream for every student who love science & technology.

During my recent one-day visit to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad, I was able to witness the remarkable academic atmosphere and infrastructure of this esteemed institution. Although my visit was brief, I was impressed by what I experienced and observed during my time there.First and foremost, the campus of IIT Palakkad is picturesque, nestled amidst lush greenery. The well-maintained grounds and modern architecture create an inviting atmosphere that immediately sets a positive tone.

Situated in an industrial area with bad road access and out of city. Campus is quite good in architecture and it's still on developing stage. Adequate shade is not available inside and outside campus, during summer seasons you cannot withstand the scorching sun here. New campus also building up nearby. Nearest town is Kanjikkode and have to travel bit a distance for basic purchases.

The campus is the transit campus of IIT Palakkad. The main campus construction is still going on. The buildings are well planned and and built without disturbing the natural topography or in the least way possible. It is literally on the foothills of Western ghats, so, the sloping ground is adopted as a character of the structure.People from outside can not visit without prior permission because of the covid regulations.

It's just a temporary campus of IIT Palakkad inside Ahalia campus. The campus is situated 4-5 kilometres inside from the main road making it a bit inaccessible but the same time calm and more peaceful. The place is covered with greenary on rainy season, but on summer it's way too hot and no green. The temporary campus doesn't have M.Tech and other research oriented branches.
