Program Structure and Curriculum
Eligibility:
- Master''''s degree or equivalent professional degree in a relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade B in UGC 7-point scale) from a recognized University. A relaxation of 5% of marks (from 55% to 50%) or an equivalent relaxation of grade will be allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layers)/Differently-abled/EWS categories. Successful completion of Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) and Interview conducted by NFSU. Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil program may be exempted from PET but must appear for the Interview.
