  • B.E./B.Tech. in an appropriate branch of engineering / AMIE / equivalent degree as approved by AICTE/UGC with a minimum of 6.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or 60% aggregate marks in all academic years/semesters or First Class in the qualifying examination. (As per NITK PG Regulations 2019-20 for M.Tech (Research))

Duration: 4 semesters (Full-time minimum) / 6 semesters (Part-time minimum)

Credits: 50 credits (12 credits coursework, 38 credits research work) Credits

Assessment: Internal: Up to 50% for coursework components (Continuous evaluation as per M.Tech by coursework guidelines), External: Up to 50% for coursework components (End Semester Examination). Extensive evaluation for research work and thesis is conducted through periodic reviews by the Doctoral Advisory Committee (DAC), thesis submission, and a final Viva-Voce examination.
