I completed my Eng Hons in 2025 from this college and this is one of the worst college, with the worst management ever. The professors mostly are not at all understanding, gives extreme low marks in the internals, and has the worst facilities. The washrooms are never clean, the canteen is non-existing, no other facility is there. The professors do not complete the syllabus even 50%, compared to other colleges, they give exceptionally low marks in the internals, even if you write brilliant. Getting extreme low marks in the internals hampers the overall sgpa adversely. They have no such fun activities done by the college, no fests, no functions, no enjoyment, only utter rubbish.I have had the worst three years of my life studying in this college.

Very bad experience in this college. Which I will never forget in my life. 3 years of this college have been very terrible. The teachers are very bad and their behavior is even worse they don't know how to treat the students. The journalism department is disgusting ma'am. They don't know how to talk to students. They don't consider students as human beings. The principal of this college is very bad. The college lift is not allowed to be used by students but the class It will be kept on the 5th floor. There is no canteen in the college. Students are made to wait for 4 hours or more to get their graduation certificates in the college. If they become ex-students, they will not be eligible for any scholarship signature is not given even after passing out this year. Very bad experience overall. 3 years very bad experience overall. You should think 10 times before taking admission in this college.🙂

Worst experience one can have! I am not exaggerating when I say that this college needs some schooling in manners and basic human decency. They mistreat and disrespect the parents who visit along with their kids for their admission. They kept us waiting for more than 5 hours outside the college on the streets during heavy rainfall. The security was treating us like we were desperate to get admission in this college. Despite securing an admission, my sister refused to proceed with the classes and dropped her admission off solely because of their poor manners.

Recently it has been accredited Grade A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta. It was set up by Sri Peary Mohan Chatterjee in 1932. It is one of the oldest girls colleges in Kolkata. The performance is acceptable. It has additional features of services like hostels, canteen, gym etc.

Worst college. They love to torture students and their guardian mentally. They treat them like slaves. They don't have any concern for students. They only think about their fees. Don't take admission in this college. They will take your mental peace.

Most third class college, teacher are very bad in all department, Except for some teachers, and the principal of this college should be in politics, most third class woman in ever seen, It doesn't take even 2 minutes for them to ruin a girl's life, they totally threaten us for 3 years. If all students keep telling their feelings it won't end.

I studied in this college from 2016-19. It was my best learning experience. Girls'College life isn't as same as the other co-ed colleges. They have strict boundaries and expections from every student. And I stepped into this college accepting that. Personally I had no problem so far.I'm from the geography dept and this college has the best faculty and staffs according to me and my classmates. After school the love and care I got from this dept was undoubtedly overwhelming. All the teachers are very friendly and meritorious. They always want the best for their students. I can assure you if you are serious enough for your higher education then this college has sooo much to provide you. And also they provide hostel, canteen, library (online/offline), gym, cheap store facilities. No politics, no ragging only peaceful ambience.Good luck! Have a nice day 🌸
