Eligibility:

  • A Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed). A relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories. Candidates with an M.Phil. degree (with 55% marks) are eligible to proceed. Candidates possessing a PG Degree from Symbiosis International University will get 2% relaxation in the aggregate percentage of marks. For Ph.D. in Information Technology, a Master''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications (MCA), or a related discipline is typically required.
