Eligibility:
- Master''''s Degree in Geoinformatics or allied disciplines (e.g., Remote Sensing, GIS, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Geography, Civil Engineering with Geoinformatics specialization) with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD candidates). Candidates must qualify for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for Ph.D. or be exempted (e.g., UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, GPAT, SLET). Performance in the Personal Interview is also a critical factor for admission.
Duration: Minimum 3 years (maximum 6 years, extendable up to 8 years as per UGC norms and SIU Ordinances). The coursework phase is for a minimum of 1 semester.
