University College was established in 1868 in Mangalore city of Karnataka in India. The campus is situated on an eight-acre land at Hampankatta in Mangalore.  This college became a constituent college of Mangalore University on 7 March 1993. It is among the 19 colleges chosen by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for 'heritage status' across the country.

It is an excellent college. It offers varieties of options of combinations. Lecturers are also good. They are friendly and knowledgeable. Many students from the city as well as from outside the city are benefited by this college. Along with academics this college gives importance to cultural and extra curricular activities also. Even if it is the middle of the city surrounded by heavy traffic, there is peace in the college campus

Good environment and excellent teaching.Supportive lecturers. It has big ground and sufficient space for car parking. This year It celebrates 150th year. Very buf library facility. Clean campus with plants and trees. Free from noise. Good institution.
