Very poor service. unhygienic. Inexperienced personnel. It's been 2 months , my father is still not fully cured just for a gull bladder stone operation. You can't find a single doctor at any time. Instead of them only students will check everything and they are not experienced. They are learning by experimenting upon the patients. Only while admitting you you will see a doctor and once you are admitted in this hospital, you will rarely find the doctor visiting your ward. Very poor service. Totally disappointed, I want to give it a zero star if it is possible.

Poor hospital -case should be file against them.We admitted my 23-year-old brother for treatment of jaundice. Over two days, we were consistently denied visitation, with vague updates from the medical staff. Our repeated requests to see him were ignored. When we insisted, we were suddenly informed of his death. The lack of transparency and empathy was appalling. It felt as though he had passed away earlier, and we were kept in the dark. This experience has left our family devastated and questioning the standards of care and communication at this facility.

SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar is one of Odisha’s leading private medical institutions. Part of the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University, it offers advanced healthcare with modern facilities, expert doctors, and specialized departments. Known for quality treatment at reasonable costs, it provides services ranging from emergency care to complex surgeries, with a focus on patient-centric care and medical education.

Recently, I visited IMS and SUM Hospital with a friend who suffered a facial injury during a music concert when confetti hit his face. We admitted him to the hospital, and I was genuinely impressed by their swift response. As soon as they saw his condition, the staff arranged everything quickly and started his treatment within minutes. The doctors and staff were incredibly professional and caring, ensuring he was comfortable throughout the process. Their compassionate behavior and prompt action made a stressful situation much easier to handle. I am genuinely happy and grateful for the excellent care they provided.
