As I prepare to leave the hallowed halls of RDASMC, a wave of nostalgia washes over me. These past 5 years have been a rollercoaster of academic rigor, unforgettable friendships, and invaluable experiences that have shaped me into the doctor I am today. The classrooms, once intimidating, now hold the echoes of countless lectures, late-night study sessions with friends, and the occasional (ahem, frequent) bunk from classes 😁. While the pursuit of knowledge was paramount, it was the camaraderie forged during these moments that truly enriched our journey. From deciphering complex medical concepts to sharing laughter during tea breaks, the brutal GPL During Birthdays🤣, the LAST NIGHT REVISION!! before examination 🫨 & Much more..the bonds we formed were unbreakable. The hospital postings, undoubtedly the most thrilling and transformative part of our education😄 provided a raw and unfiltered glimpse into the realities of medicine. The adrenaline rush of seeing emergencies both of patients and during VIVA in the ward, the quiet satisfaction of witnessing patient recovery, and the poignant moments of loss – these experiences have etched themselves into our souls, forever altering our perspectives. We stumbled, we made mistakes (plenty of them!), but each misstep was a lesson learned, a stepping stone on the path to becoming competent practitioners. And then, there are the teachers🙏. The guiding lights who not only imparted knowledge but also instilled in us the values of compassion and empathy. Some were strict, some were gentle, but all were dedicated to our growth. A special mention to Dr Anshu mam, Dr. Swati mam, Dr. Ankit Sir Dr Shashank Sir and many others whose unwavering support and forgiving nature made the daunting task of medical education seem achievable. Their dedication and kindness will forever serve as an ideal, a standard to which I aspire to hold myself. RDASMC wasn't just an institution; it was a crucible where we were forged, tempered by challenges, and polished by experiences. We arrived as wide-eyed students, and we leave as budding doctors👨‍⚕️, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and, most importantly, the ❤️ to serve humanity. The memories created within these walls, the friendships forged, and the lessons learned will forever remain etched in my heart. Thank you, college, for everything.✨
