Extremely Disheartening Experience at AIIMS Bhopal Maternity DepartmentI’m writing this review with deep concern and disappointment after my wife’s recent cesarean delivery at AIIMS Bhopal. We had expected a minimum level of professionalism and care from such a reputed government hospital, but the reality was shockingly different and distressing. From the moment of admission, the behavior of the hospital staff was cold, unresponsive, and at times outright rude. We had to constantly chase nurses and staff for even the most basic post-operative support. No one seemed willing to answer our questions or explain my wife's condition after surgery, and we were left feeling helpless and unheard during what should have been a time of care and recovery. The most horrifying part was the complete lack of hygiene. After a major surgery like a cesarean, my wife was left lying in blood-stained pads for hours, without anyone coming to clean or change her. Despite repeated requests, the staff showed no urgency or concern for her condition. This is not just poor service — it’s inhumane and medically dangerous. The maternity ward was understaffed, unclean, and lacked any sense of compassion or responsibility. We witnessed other patients being treated similarly — ignored, neglected, and left to suffer in silence. For a government hospital known for its medical excellence, the on-ground reality is completely opposite in the maternity department. This experience has left us mentally and emotionally drained. I sincerely urge the AIIMS Bhopal management to take strict action against the negligent staff and ensure proper training, cleanliness, and empathy in the pregnancy and post-delivery wards. No woman deserves to go through this kind of trauma, especially after childbirth.Until significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend AIIMS Bhopal’s maternity care to anyone.I personally suggest that Spend some money and let your precious moment don't be get ruined and disappointed at aiims bhopal.

AIIMS Bhopal is one of the best government hospitals in the city, known for its expert doctors and quality treatment. However, the overall process is quite slow and time-consuming.From registering for OPD to consulting a doctor, getting tests done, and finally collecting medicines – every step involves standing in long queues. Even basic check-ups can take a long time, and it’s common to wait around an hour at each stage.Additionally, many medicines prescribed by doctors are often not available at the hospital pharmacy. Patients are usually told to come back later or purchase the medicines from outside. If you plan to visit AIIMS Bhopal in the morning, be prepared to spend the entire day there, even if you try to complete things quickly.Overall, while the medical services are good, the hospital needs to improve its management and reduce patient waiting time.

, I would not recommend anyone to visit this hospital. The management should focus on better patient care, proper systems, and respectful treatment of people who come here for help. The billing counter is also very unorganized—many times the lights go out or the server stops working, causing even more delays and frustration.

People have to stand in a long queue after coming here, after this the doctor keeps on moving the patients here and there, this takes many days, sometimes the doctor is on leave, sometimes what? On top of this the security personnel here also behave badly, it would be better if you choose another hospital😢

Okay so in my opinion, it was a myth that one should avoid government institute mostly hospitals, but this is way better then private ones. Every type of facilities and services that a hospital should consist almost all are available here, overall infrastructure is good. It is crowded over there. Yess some of their staff is unprofessional or rude in many ways may be bcs of the crowd they Lost their temper but both the staff and the member from outside should understand their responsibilities. And Beware you may found yourself lost if you are going there for the first Time.

A very large hospital, went for a seminar, the place holding the seminar was very good. But the opd is very crowded. You should take an appointment in advance , waiting time will still be 1-2 hoursBut the rates are very reasonable in comparison to private hospitals .Beds are mostly occupied and E.R. is also very crowded. But facilities provided are also advanced.

AIIMS is the one of the best hospitals in bhopal where the doctors are so nice and humble that they treat you like family and friends but you need to be careful for your health if you visit there and God bless you and you never see the interior of the AIIMS or other hospitals in life.
