Extremely disappointed with Annamalai University. The communication is pathetic — no response to calls, emails are ignored, and there's absolutely no support system for students. It’s incredibly frustrating trying to get even basic information.Please don’t waste your money or time pursuing distance education from here. It’s completely unworthy of your investment. The university fails to provide the minimum standard of service expected from an educational institution

*Reaching Annamalai University:*- Nearest airport and railway station: Chennai- From Chennai, take a train or cab to Chidambaram (Annamalai Nagar)- Book a stay in Chidambaram near Natarajan Temple for convenience- To reach the university, take an auto-rickshaw and ask the driver to drop you at the DDE office*Admission Process:*1. *Fees Payment:*- Pay fees using cards (credit/debit) at the fee counter- Receive receipt and slip to submit with documents- Check fees structure according to required documents2. *Document Submission:*- Take photocopies of required documents and Aadhar card- Write an application stating the documents needed- Submit application and documents to senior staff on the 2nd floor*Important Points to Remember:*- Lunch break: 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm- Take photocopies of documents- Language barrier: limited English spoken- For Transfer Certificate (TC), visit the Controller of Examiner's office- Payments for TC will be made in the same buildingI hope this helps! A place of higher education in the name of Annamalai Chettiar. A private university taken over by the Government of Tamilnadu A decade ago. Famous for it's courses on music, education, agricultural sciences, engineering and medical sciences. With the taken over by Government several changes are happening and the empowerment now focused on general education rather than specialized courses.

I had done distance education ( masters) from annamalai university and according to recent judgement by ugc annamalai university had violated rules and offered distance education without proper recognition or permission from UGC and hence the degree is invalid . I am facing a huge career loss due to this scam university. By all means this university shall be closed and fined heavily for playing with lives of innocent students . We will lose our livelihood. Shame !

It’s one of the top university in India 🇮🇳 where all the departments of every speciality under one roof. It is one of the best place to study any speciality subject.Cost of living is very affordableStudent friendly university

Nostalgic feelings…after 10 years..always ❤️ Tech park,Admin,cash counter que,Golden jubilee hostel,Departments,Ground,OP,tea stalls,labs,rainy season is just something..ll be thr once again..❤️👌
