Alma Mater, seen it first in 1998. Quiet and calm, plenty of trees in the small campus.Has expanded now with a new academic block, massive and well organised. A sight to behold. Looks majestic, the entire surrounding Kalasipalya area has been cleaner and thanks to metro it is very easy to commute.Attached to many good hospitals in terms of clinical load.Has transformed now into a great institution although may improve into a national institute by hiring better manpower.An institution with plenty of individual freedom and scope to grow.

Bangalore medical college is best medical college with excellent staff, large infrastructure, well equipped labs. Easy accesble near K R market, metro route also available

The campus has shrunk in size considerably. Since 2yrs pending construction. Currently going through a transformation phase. Would be also better if there is more sports and cultural facilities, like a ground in campus or off.

Medical College, whr educated ppl r atleast those who are studying should have manners of not littering but literates are littering in the BMCRI campus with coffee cups,straws, veggies etc etc .. so much for literacy...??

Its my college.No doubt one of the best places to develop your medical knowledge and practice with huge patient inload. The infrastructure is in the process of development with new college building and hospitals. New buildings for emergency and trauma and high risk pregnancy have been inaugurated. Once all buildings are completed it will be the Best. The extra curricular activities in the college is not so developed.

Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute(BMCRI) was started as a private Medical college in 1955 by Dr R Shivaram, Dr Mekhri, Dr B K Narayana Rao & Dr B V Ramaswamy.In 1996 it got affiliated to the RGUHS.Four major hospitals attached to Bangalore medical college areVictoria Hospital with 1000 beds,Vani Vilas Women & Children’s Hospital with 536 beds,Minto Ophthalmic Hospital with 300 beds,Bowring & Lady Curzon Hospital with 686 beds

Good to see the giant infrastructure though not able to see inside. Just near Tipu Sultan summer palace.Will visit & interact with students & faculties next time
