BGS College of Engineering and Technology, located near Mahalakshmi Nagar Metro Station (Green Line) in Bangalore, is an institution in its developing phase. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience during an IEEE event:---1. Location and Accessibility:The college is easily accessible, being located near the Mahalakshmi Nagar Metro Station, making it convenient for students and visitors.---2. Infrastructure and Facilities:The college is still developing, and there’s room for improvement in terms of infrastructure.Limited space: The campus feels compact, which might restrict expansion or additional facilities in the future. The presence of a temple attached to the college adds a spiritual touch, but it might not align with everyone’s expectations for an academic institution.---3. Environment and Organization:The college mixes school and college facilities together, which might not be ideal for maintaining a focused academic environment for higher education.Despite this, the campus atmosphere is positive and students appear supportive, which is encouraging.---4. Event Experience:My visit for an IEEE event was smooth, and the staff and students provided necessary assistance.---5. Academic Reputation:I cannot comment on the academic quality as I didn’t get a chance to observe or experience it directly.---6. Scope for Improvement:The college needs to separate school and college facilities to ensure a more professional and focused learning environment for college students.Enhancements in infrastructure and space management would greatly benefit the institution in attracting more students and hosting larger events.---BGS College of Engineering and Technology is a developing institution with potential. Its supportive students and accessible location are positives, but it needs to focus on improving its infrastructure and separating its school and college operations. With these changes, it could provide a more conducive environment for higher education.

BGSCET is good college located in heart of city and interacted with students to join my son I came to know that it’s good discipline and good faculties and great infrastructure of BGS INSTITUTIONS.it’s about 300m from METRO STATION. there is no second thought that I would join my son in this institution.

Writing this to truly appreciate the management and staff going above and beyond to fix the issues when we used their premise for conducting BITS exams. The principal Prof Dr Ravi Kumar is one of the rare leaders I have seen who rolls up his sleeves and stayed with us all 3 days including weekend to solve the issues on the ground . Mr Chetan from IT and many other staff were also helpful. There are teething issues on the internet bandwidth but I am hopeful that they would be resolved by the next time given the involvement. Hardware and labs are good though.

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the ongoing disrespectful behavior exhibited by our Principal towards the students. This unacceptable conduct has created a hostile and demoralizing environment, severely affecting the well-being and academic performance of the students. The role of a Principal Shobha Engineering College is pivotal in shaping the educational experience and fostering a positive atmosphere. However, the consistent disrespect, dismissive attitude, and lack of empathy displayed by our current Principal have eroded the trust and respect that are fundamental to a healthy school environment. It is imperative that immediate action is taken to address this issue. I respectfully urge the management to investigate these concerns thoroughly and consider the removal of the Principal from their position. Ensuring a respectful and supportive environment for our students should be our highest priority.
