D.M. College of Commerce, situated in Imphal West, Manipur, was established on August 6, 1996. Emerging from the bifurcation of the erstwhile D.M. College of Arts and Commerce, it holds a unique position as the only government college in Manipur dedicated exclusively to Commerce education up to the postgraduate level. Originally affiliated with Manipur University, the college became a constituent college of Dhanamanjuri University, Imphal, following the university's establishment in 2018. The best government institution for graduation n masters in Manipur . Me personally being a student of this institution , i will say that it is the best , the teaching n non teaching staffs, everyone in the campus r very helpful . The campuses for different streams r also very peaceful n eco friendly n mostly students could do their studies n works there with no disturbance . There r also well equipped libraries n so on. For me the best so far👍.

This is the college from which I earned my degree of Bachelor of Commerce in 1992. This college before 2002 AD was in the campus of DM College of Arts and then the college was known as DM College of Arts and Commerce. This college was established during the British rule in 1946 AD. It was founded by Lady Dhana Manjuri, and thus its name became DM college. The present location of DM commerce is only 200 metres from the location of DM Arts. This college is affiliated under the Manipur university ( Central University ). This college at the initial stage was affiliated under the Guwahati university, because G.U was then the only university in the entire north eastern region of India. This college was then regarded as the best of all colleges of N.E. Region. The college produced a large numbers of intellectuals, academicians and highly professional individuals. This college offers management, commerce, mass communication, library science etc, as a course of studies. Infrastructure of this college is very good. Professors are very disciplined and caring. Students are very sincere in studies. This college is the number one college of commerce in the entire state of Manipur. The campus is very peaceful and lively.
