I spent 12 years in this school. My parents admitted me here because this is one of prestigious and disciplined school as it was before specially when this school was affiliated West Bengal government board. It's been 9 years I left this school and my opinion is1) most teachers played favouritism too much and was unbothered for their low graded students2) their councelling to any back or weak student was less to no3) some teachers way of speaking was like putting sword through your heart4) there was not much social or metal awareness showsOtherwise would suggest this school to you if you want kind of strict schoolPs: I think every school shoul hire professional counsellor or behaviour study teacher.. our this and next generations should be taught good civic sense.

One of the best elite Girls College at Kolkata. The prime focus is Discipline & Education (alike to it's eloquent GMG school). Decent infrastructural facilities i.e. big community Hall, library, playground, qualified & devoted faculty & management, fests, workshops, etc.The Institute is also famed for its different social activities in the city with aim of spreading education, women empowerment & foster development of the society.Eminent Alumni of this prestigious college are Dona Ganguly, Mamta Shankar, Nabaneeta Dev Sen, Koel Mallick, Chaiti Ghosal, Debina Banerjee, Srabani Sen, etc.Keep up the Spirit for excellence in Social Activities .....

This is one of the best college of Kolkata. All students are very very intelligent and creative. Everyone can feel free to be student here. All teacher are very very good amd helpful. The whole building is neat and clean. As a girl college, it has marvellous washroom.

The school is most favored for girls education - nicely located near rabindra sadan metro station. The academic performances of the school are good, although it's infrastructure is far from adequate. It needs a revamp and needs to string up extra curricular activities along with the core studies.

Gokhale Memorial Girls School and College are Located near Rabindra sadan metro station, opposite SSKM Hospital.

This is the worst college if you at all are willing to experience college life. This 'dicipline' and 'strictness' which so many people, not at all personally involving from the college are providing with is actually mere ' rigidness'. The faculty is extremely non-student friendly. Non understanding and very very very humiliating. Plus most of the students here are also very self- sufficient, they willingly will never help you, if you're not their friend. There is no fest, no freshers, nothing. Extremely small infrastructure. The teachers are qualified individuals in their fields, yes, but I highly doubt they are qualified as teachers or not. The office stuffs are rude as well. I would never recommend this college if you want a good, healthy and fun learning environment.I would only recommend this college for the people who only wants to study, study and study. That's it.
