Gour Mohan Sachin Mandal Mahavidyalaya is a government – aided, co-educational multi-faculty college established in 1968.The college was founded by Dr. Satyendranath Naskar, a renowned educationalist with empathy towards the backward classes in 1968. Late Sachindranath Mandal, son of Late Gour Mohan Mandal , of the adjoining village Bireswarpur, donated land and money towards the establishment of the college. Many benevolent persons contributed land and money for the development and expansion of the college. The college at present is situated on 13.1 acres of land near Madhabpur station, Sealdah - Lakshmikantapur Railway Line. The Kolkata – Kulpi Road runs past the college.Affiliated by the University of Calcutta on 30th August 1969 as a grants –in –aid college ,the college is recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f) and 12( b).

it is a xam centre for Netaji Subhas Open University....It is near madhabpur station.....u can come here form diamond harbour by falta sector 1 bus via bijoyganj bazar....

Very good and big school, infrastructure is very nice with comfortable desk and benches for students. This school is very near to madhabpur railway station just 600 metres.It has separate rooms for different subjects.It has a canteen inside where meals/lunch is provided which is not very tasty.This school uses rainwater harvesting system.It has clean drinking water facility, the toilets at ground floor is clean.

Average college, beautiful campus but the good thing abou this college is student can get better education from this college inspite o a govt college it has a big ground it will also increase ur sports skill that makes a big impact in study. Hostel facility is also available in this college. I can say u must hve visit the college once.

I'm not a student of Gour Mohan Sachin Mandal Mahavidyalay but it's very good college specially English department 😊 Teachers of English department are really very amazing. And Their behaviour is also very nice.

It's a college situated at Bireswarpur in Madhabpur. It's an educational institution that offers undergraduate degrees to the students. The college has very good number of faculties in each stream. This educational institution has separate common room for boys and girls. The institution is located in a very good natural surroundings. This institution also has a separate Post Graduate stream offered by Netaji Subhash Open University. This is a study centre of NSOU. The quality of education is also very good.
