I am a student of Harishchandra PG University. This is the oldest postgraduate college in Varanasi and the professors here are also very good. Classes are conducted here every day.The best thing about the college is that it has preserved its cultural heritage better than all the other colleges in Banaras. Thank you Harishchandra PG College. This college is affiliated of MGKVP. HCPG is a very old and one of the best college.

Great college for UG & PG or other graduation.i am graduated from here 2012.collage facility and other staff members are good & cooperative.

GoodThis is the top post graduate college in Varanasi. It affiliate with Mahatama Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth University Varanasi. A lots of courses are inrolled in this college like graduation post graduation and diploma, law course also enrolled. Near about 5000 students enrolled in this college.What should I tell, it was not even a resturent nor is it a place to visit, it's a college ,,, If you want to know, then ask about the studies or about the teachers ,,,,And as far as I know, all are absolutely good 👍It's a great college for those students who really wish to study and work hard. Lots of examples are there who became a very successful employers and business man and politicians from this college. Nice faculty, Labs and libraries. Teacher's are very helpful and providing a great environments for studies but some students are involve in politics but it's there choice. If you really want to study and work hard so you can achieve any goel. Full marks for this college in all ranking. Selection is quite tuff, go for it.

Harish Chandra Postgraduate College is a government college and one of the oldest colleges in Maidagin, Varanasi, India. A government college that offers undergraduate and postgraduate. The Ph.D. degree programs are running in most of the departments. It was founded in 1860 by Bharatendu Harishchandra and opened in 1866 with five students. Admission is done through entrance exams conducted by the college every year The college campus is now fully circulated by wifi since October 2018.In 1860, the Harish Chandra Vidyalaya Samiti (a non-profit charitable institution registered under Indian Society Act 1860) was incorporated and the same year Harish Chandra Postgraduate College was founded by Bharatendu Harishchandra. The college opened in 1866 with five students. In 1910, the institution started high school, and in 1939 intermediate classes were started. In October 1951, the college began undergraduate courses in arts and commerce.

It is how you'd imagine a PG college to be. Old and damaged building ingredients. The teacher's teach the contents of the syllabus and that's it. In science department, materials are barely enough to even give the students a practical knowledge about the wide array of things. If one just wishes to get a degree, this is the place. But if one wishes to pursue further in studies, best to look elsewhere.

College is good but the authority and other study service is not good they do not have proper study material for students neither they have good library not they offer continues classes also... Teachers aren't supportive not the principal... There many error comes while examination time Or result time.... U will not get helping or supportive environment... Classes do not get run on daily basis.... They always do delays in everything
