PG Programs
- Eligibility: A recognized Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) under the 10+2+4 system is essential.
- Minimum Academic Requirement: A minimum of 60% marks or an overall grade point average (OGPA) of 6.50 out of 10.00 in the UG degree (55% marks or OGPA of 6.00/10 for SC/ST candidates), subject to specific program requirements.
- Entrance Exams: Some programs, specifically the MFSc, require standardized tests such as the ICAR AIEEA PG.
- Documents: Academic transcripts, a statement of purpose, resume, and letters of recommendation.
PhD Programs
- Eligibility: A Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.) degree or an M.Sc. in Fish and Fisheries and related disciplines is required.
- Minimum Academic Requirement: A strong academic record in the Master's program, with a preference for applicants with research experience. Candidates with a D.F.Sc. and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science with two years of experience in fisheries development work are also considered.
