Well maintained. IIT DHARWAD is an autonomous premier Science and Technology Institute established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India in 2016 under the mentorship of IIT Bombay. IIT DHARWAD is presently situated in Water and Land Management Institute (WALMI) Campus [135 acres in area] located on the National Highway (NH-4) connecting Pune and Bengaluru. All the major facilities in dhArwAD are within 10 km radius from the campus. WALMI has generously provided several buildings for the student hostels, class rooms, laboratories, etc. for IIT DHARWAD.

IIT Dharwad is one among the new IITS.It is operating from WALMI Campus temporarily.It will be relocated to its permanent campus soon.It has all the major departments of engineering studies.It also offers PhD courses.It has hostel facility for both boys and girls.The canteen is located inside the hostel premises.It has round the clock security.There is the HIGH COURT building adjacent to it.Buses are frequent and so is shared auto rides.It takes ~40 mins to reach here from Dharwad Old Bus Stand / Court Circle.

Perfect for engineering studies after cracking IIT jee / GATE/jam etc..

Fresh among iit's. Still a lot to get developed. Have two buildings, a academic block and hostel.2018- Now 10 hostels have been renovated.. h-1 to h-10.

In IIT Dharwad new campus Everyrhing is good....campus,classrooms,mess,library,surroundings,climate,Food...room shared by 4 members in hostel..that is the only problem ..but okay
