DSB campus Nainital is a government college under kumaun University.This college includes a wide campus including a beautiful libarary for students, chemistry lab , physics lab having proper instruments , a large oditoriume for functions and cultural activities, and the professors are very highly educated.Doing practicals is supper fun in this college.It also includes two girls hostel and two boys hostels having beautiful environment. It is no ragging zone you should feel free and confident, came here to learn more new things and educate others too . Almost every courses are available in this university. You can also opt for physical education, yoga , music ,art and other language courses.

Went there for taking migration certificate and applying degree . First taked the forms (cost 5 ruppe each) filled them then cutted the receipt of ruppes 200 for original degree(300 for provisional) and 100 for migration certificate .Waited 30 minutes for migration certificate and the original degree will come to your address after 1 year of applying the degree. Apart from that It is a beautiful place surrounded by greenery. Ab kuch jajbaat ki baate ..- Yaha aare ho to Nainital ghum Lena bhai ekdum mast jagah h . Nav m bhi baith jana thoda . Bagal m tifin top h , suicide point h sab ghum Lena, Thodi der zoo bhi ho aana aur phir bhi waqt Bach Jaye to rope way m mauj karna. Bas bhai isase jada mat poocho.

The infrastructure is very poor but the salary of the staff and teachers is very high... Perfect place to witness arm chair job.Location is good but University is very poor.. whole world is switching it's services to online mode, but KU is still working in offline mode..

Established in 1973, Kumaun University consists of three campuses at Almora , Nainital and Bhimtal; 3 5 affiliated government colleges; and almost equal number of affiliated self-financed private institutions spread across the Kumaun region. The total area covered by the university thus far is an impressive 160 acres. In order to cater the technical, professional and vocational education, another campus of the University is being developed at Bhimtal. Special emphasis is placed by Kumaun University to uphold the motto of excellent teaching and high quality research. In the residential and affiliated campuses, both teaching and research activities are equally important factors that support the curriculum and contribute to the student's learning habits.

This univeristy is nowadys loosing its charm...teachers are like they have no duty towards the students.

Great place, on the main road, congested road sply during season time.

A lot of things need to be improved, the most important being you can't directly complete your work in one go,you need to have patience otherwise goodluck.The offices are quite confusing.
