Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, established by the Government of Tamil Nadu on September 7, 1990, is widely recognized for its commitment to higher education in southern Tamil Nadu. Now the central government announced it's the top 5 in cleanest institute in India.its one the most best environmental nd cleanest institute in tamilnadu. Even compared to IIT Chennai, this university is very gud nd clean it look awesome. Really i surprised to entering in to the place likes Deer crossing, cycling symbols on roads, atm , canteen, infrastructure., etc.. Totally university with spread a campus of 550 acres, its not a great thing But the maintenance of this entire place is very difficult but they did. Really hatsoff to the leader, worker's, students and each nd everyone who maintains the clean.. This university is the Role models for all govt institutes...

The university has a vast area. But you have to walk the entire campus for applications and other needs. They have a small tea stall and a shop for xerox ( Photocopy ). There is a lack of good canteen facilities. There were sign boards saying don't feed the rabbits and peacocks but i didn't find any.
