Pity and shame for road conditions connecting university and university infrastructure is dilapidated, being a central university, its a shameful for state and central government not sanctioning funds for the upliftment of the university infrastructure ..

For those who wants to study in an environment away from big noisy towns and cities, Nagaland University is the best place to be. Learning + close to Nature.

It is a so-so University. It has WiFi, SBI and post office but don't expect them to work like it does in metro city. The education quality is above average but not very great. Some great research labs are there in zoology, botany, chemistry, physics.

Located at Lumami under Zunheboto district.Nagaland University, has an awesome location...amid nature.. Great place for learning and blessed by a natural and peaceful environment for studies especially for students and various staff living around the Green Campus...Road connectivity and conditions could be a little better though especially saving valuable time and energy for everyone visiting the campus from other parts of the country or from abroad. It surely has potential matching up to the prestigious Universities of the country.
