Nasinha dutt college is one of the most popular and oldest college in Howrah. All student and Teachers behavior is very good.

The biggest advantage of this college is that there are no problems with the union. The union never forces any students to join them . The science department is very good for studying. Especially in the chemistry department and the zoology department.The biggest problem of this college is waterlogging during the rainy season. Now, during the rainy season, the college is knee-deep in water.All the rooms on the first floor are submerged in water. All the students are forced to sit in this water and take their exams.At other times, water is pumped out of the college, but since the areas surrounding the college are now submerged, it is not possible to pump water out of the college in any way.

It is graduation and post graduation (applied for some subjects) college under Calcutta University. Situated near Howrah Maidan, this college is a good choice for science enthusiasts. This college got the NAAC B+ certificate.The campus is not so big but it is well maintained. It is a very old college too.

Best degree college in howrah. Science department is one of the best in bengal. Neat and clean college premises. Good location. Good faculty. There is a canteen. Large parking space. Very large open space with lots of trees. There is large pond also in the college campus. Big ground also there. I am a proud alumni of this college. Student union arrange nobin boron and fest every year. Few departments arrange reunion also.

I did my Graduation (B.Com Honours) from here. Unfortunately couldn't enjoy my college life well because of COVID-19 Outbreak & that's so sad for me. Everything is good in the college. You'll get a fresh vibe everytime. Professors of Commerce department are quite helpful & college union is also very helpful towards candidates. Literally miss this college so much but some other things are there which is somehow ruining the goodwill of this college.

It is one of the oldest and one of the best college of Howrah.The area is big and surrounded by tree and a small pond.Most of the class rooms are big and airy but the cleanliness is not up to the mark. This college offers many subjects for degree course.This college has three different shift morning (for girls),day(co-ed) and night (for boys). My)=

Narasinha Dutt College is an undergraduate college in Howrah, West Bengal, India. Established in 1924, it claims to be the oldest college in Howrah district and the biggest in West Bengal. It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta.Narasinha Dutt College was established in 1924 in the home of I. R. Belious, at Howrah. It started with seven teachers and 124 students.July 1924, an apparently small event, due to assume much larger proportions. A college affiliated to the University of Calcutta started with just seven teachers and 124 students in the residential building of Late I.R. Belilious.The initiative in this regard was taken by Late Suranjan Dutta, the second son of Late Narasinha Dutta .The College started with Motilal Chatterjee as Principal and renowned scholar Jnanendranath Sen as Vice-Principal. Later on Prof. Sen became the Principal and remained in office for a long time to play the role of the architect of the college.With the passage of time, new building came to be erected, enrolment of students steadily picked up and fourteen honours courses were opened. The Morning Shift is exclusively for girls, the Evening Shift exclusively for boys and the Day Shift is Co-educational.

One of the best colleges in Howrah and West Bengal, great faculty, amazing ambience and a lush green campus which help in complete all round development of students...!Science department is best in the district, commerce and arts are also very well equipped...Lovely college, all in all...!
