The actual campus is stretched probably accross 3-4 acres. Lack of sporting opportunities. Only some teachers, are really adept at teaching their requisite topics. But,They're available for help. Sparse coding culture. Library is open only from 9 to 4 , on week days, contrary to 24/7 hours of other universities. Number of Classrooms are of tin rooms, and it gets excruciatingly hot inside during the summer. Hepful seniors. Below average food in mess with limits on the amount. Just few bathrooms and showers are in usable condition, with Broken mirrors and doors in the washroom.

THE WORST HOSTEL MESS EVER ON PLANET EARTH! Classrooms are made of tins and the entire college is literally sinking while the top faculty are eating away at the college funds. Also SBI Level Rudeness and unprofessionalism can be seen among the employees in the Academic Block.

The place where great ideas and great people come to serve the people who are starving for gaining knowledge. The Professors are from IITs and NITs and from the reputed institutions from India and abroad. The knowledge and experience of faculty is awesome. Support students and their ideas. Encourage to participate in different activities like woshops conferences and activities related cuicular and co-curricular activities such as sports and NCC camps and college festivals and international conferences also as a part of student development and benefits to from the college side.For gaining knowledge it's has its own remak and for those who complain it's their inability to get good out of the college who concentrate on food and freaking.Additionally,Awesome weather.Rains are more. Full greenery. Surrounded by hills. Morning starts by 4am. People wake up here by 3am. Here in manipur awesome weather from the college throughout the year. People visit manipur for this awesome weather which make them feel thrilled.

It is an awesome place with natural beauty. It is very important to me because I had done M.Tech from this campus. I am proud of this as a part of NIT Manipur.

Do not take admission, you will regret it.Only positive is the NIT tag and in Btech, it is comparatively easy to get jobs.No infrastructure, nothing.

The college needs a lot of work especially on infrastructure and placements. The atmosphere and students are good. In northeast, it can be in top 2 new NIT's.

If you are willing to join an nit in north east then nit manipur is indeed worth joining.Out of the 10 new nits opened in year 2010 nit manipur in one of the top.It has five major programs in ug viz. Cs,mech.,civil, electrical and ece.Also there are msc. Courses,m.tech courses and many students are also persuing their phd. from nit manipur.Our nit is new and is growing rapidly, placements are descent and almost all students of cs get placed.If you are confused about which nit to join among these new ones then nit manipur will be a good choice.
