One of the worst Institutes, the NIT tag should be scraped off the from such irresponsible institution. Completely unprofessional faculties. HoDs held their position more because of boot licking than experience and qualifications. Even some departments have HoDs who are under 35 years of age (a point which is repeatedly mentioned by AICTE that only faculties who are eligible to become Associate Professors are eligible to become HoDs in certain cases, preference should be of Professor rank for Institute of National Importance). Faculties are completely unprofessional as well as irresponsible, only available when their lecture is on the turn, otherwise you wouldn't find them anywhere in the campus. Instead of empathy, they seem to enjoy the problems of students (less number of available books in library, stiff terrain, improper water management, over inflated items, irregular internet connectivity).First witnessed a technical institution, where the majority of the campus recruitments are made for Business Development role, instead of technical roles. Even the students of CSE or ECE background are forced to take such roles otherwise threatening them of blacklist, means they wouldn't be able to sit for any campus recruitment, if they don't accept the role of Business Development Associate.Have studied there till 2023, never ever thought of getting the lowest grade in a project where I have defended the thesis equivocally and received praise from the external examiner. Even if you say something and any faculty of your department find it unsuitable or maybe against him, he would make you feel the real warmth then, he would make the entire department against you. I have seen people who is still in their 2nd year when I was leaving the college after my degree in 2023, because that guy have mentioned that a particular faculty show extra favouritism for some girl students, and the entire department have made him suffer. Yes there were faculties when I was there back in 2023, who used to get special attention to some specific girls.Even if we leave the factor of improper connectivity, as there is only one state transport bus, which runs only a single time in a day, the college is a total mess. If you are getting this college in some round of counseling, I would suggest try for some other college or getting admission in a private college, it would sound better.Edit:- When I was in my final year there were elections in the college for various committees. There was a guy named I think Vishal Raj or something who was unanimously nominated by the college authority for Hostel and Mess purpose, instead of getting elected. That guy was a super brilliant person, no doubt, but that guy was also hand in glove with the authorities in hiding the various corrupt practices that were being practiced in case of mess fees and hostel allotment. If you see a review of NIT Arunachal by VISHAL RAJ, assume it as fake propaganda.

The National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh was inaugurated on 18th August, 2010 as a member of a group of ten new NITs. These new NITs were established as centers of excellence in technical education to combat the growing need of technological professionals in India as well as in the World. The Institute has been through many trials since its establishment in 2010; but ultimately has triumphed over all challenges and is thriving today with more than 800 students on roll and many distinguished members of faculty as well as a good many numbers of competent administrative personnel. Institute offers, UG, PG and Ph.D. programs in CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, CHE, and Bio.Tech. NIT Arunachal Pradesh was ranked 200th in 2020 NIRF ranking, and with progressively increased this rank to 160th in 2021 NIRF ranking issued by Ministry of Education Govt. of India. This year 2021-22, only five UG courses  are offering CS (Computer Science & Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), EC(Electronics & Communication Engineering), ME(Mechanical Engineering) and CE(Civil

NIT is a national level institute and central government funded. Lots of funds and money supply for best infrastructure and education. But ,due to lack of awareness and education, own people doing corruption with the central money. Because of that, institute stuffs and students are suffering now. Elder of our community should do something. You know more then up coming generation about that things.....and we are beside you.....it's about our future....
