Worst college ever in history, No facilities for hostelers, so much cold here, bonfire is not allowed, we don't have even permission of anything to do except studies, even placement is all upon student, college life is even worst than school life, so much of restriction and mess food is too bad to eat. Kindly take private college of your area, that would be much better than this.

This is top college NIT where you can get admission with low rank rank in jee mains. This has a beautiful campus and a amazing view admist the hills

Excellent for studying for graduation not good for sports though have only 2 outfield ground and 1 badami court , so doesn't offer much in sports facilities but excellent in academic

You'll definitely be choosing BITS Pilani, HBTI, Jadavpur University or any IIT, IISERs or any Top NIT but on the off chance that you're asking this question, it means that you're not getting any of these. So, now I suggest go for it.If you have got NIT SIKKIM through your counselling results then believe me, you couldn't get better now. You Just can't compare an NIT with any random private college, don't even think to.People who give reviews that a private institute is much better than a newly established NIT, are living in oblivion still. If only a central university isnt good enough than a private one, then so should have been the admission procedure.If you're yourself from an IIT or NIT or aspire to be in one of them, then I guess you know better what it really takes for an individual to reach there. A central institute is a central only and the degree itself says a lot about you. You've been the cream of the crowd and no one can just deny it.A private institute graduate would never even be compared with it as they themselves didn't get an admission here due to such a tough screening process. Don't even talk about their views on this.So, I suggest if NIT SIKKIM is what you got then take it. The institute is progressing and will be a big name in coming days. The laboratories are under construction for Civil and Mechanical and maximum components are present here. The institute also has a Super Computer named Kanchenjunga.Overall, NIT SIKKIM would be a good choice among the newly established NITs.

Beautiful place to learn the experience of life. Teaching quality is above average.. Placement is quite good. If you want to enjoy life to the fullest , you are welcome here.

Beautiful land scape. enclosed Mount Narsing and Mainam NIT Sikkim is very beatiful.Tiny portion of the Kanchenjungha is also visible from the campus. Summer is cool, winter is cold. You may also see snow fall.
