Being an institute of national importance (India), NIT Trichy has kept up high academic standards and research excellence since its journey started sixty years back. The wonderful greenery and vast campus area are truly fascinating to any scholar.

World class campus, top class institute. I have studied here. And i really miss this place. This campus offers faar better facilities than many well known corporations. Students from all over India study here. Many amenities like sports club, gym, swimming pool etc are free to access for students. Area of campus is huge. A well established hospital with ambulance is inside the campus. A shopping center, food corner, bank, post office all are available within the campus.

One of the best Engineering Institute in India. It also provides programmes in various domains such as MBA, M.Tech, MCA and recently they have started M.A curriculum to diversify their individuality. Teachers here are more experienced and dedicated. If you ever get a chance to get into this primier institute do not miss the chance.

One of the prestigious colleges in India.Mind blowing architecture situated in a vast area.The campus is very large with neat maintenance.The students are well educated in their domain as well as they are involved in various extra curricular activities.They can get a wide exposure.The campus is eco-friendly as you cannot see no student driving bikes or cars.. only bicycles.

The place is an emotion, hands down one of the best engineering institutions in India. Tremendous improvement in infrastructure over the years.

I have spent a lot of time here more than 6 years. I have completed my M.Tech and later PhD from NIT Trichy.I have seen a lot of changes the campus gone over these few years.When I joined in 2010 for M Tech there were lot of issues like roads were not good, infrastructure was not enough.We have stayed 3 person in a room which is meant for 2 students.Few of my friends stayed whole semester in common room.Those were bad times from electricity point of view.There was so frequent power cuts that most of my friends will be awake up to 2am or 3 am.Dr. Sundarrajan joined as director and much has changed.Infrastructure got improved.Over the years there is a lot much improvement in green cover in NIT but there not seem to be enough commitment from administration.Sports facilities are ok in few cases like badminton court, volleyball court, basketball and tennis courts but worst facilities like Gym.Mess food is OK but due to lack of interest from students it's not up to the mark.Many students use bicycles is great news but bad news is many cycles were abandoned and lied unused for longer time to finally become useless.NIT Trichy is known for placement and many students come here to get just placed (especially MTech students)Because of its Alumni NIT Trichy have great name in the list of technical institutes.It's very good to see institute taken tree plantation drive on larger scale. Hundreds of trees are being planted during this rainy season of 2018. Campus is slowly looking more and more green. Hope in coming years our campus will be the greenest place in Trichy.Also recently biogas plant has been constructed behind mega mess 2 which will use food and vegetable waste and convert it into fuel for cooking and manure.Please like 👍 if the review was useful to you.

NIT, were popular across the country india ,more over NIT Trichy is the top and followed by warangal etc.the best place to study and having a bright future students were consider IIT& NIT . The campus was so massive of land that takes your time from going one place to another😂, the workshops were conducted recently by WAC it was good and the most of the students were showed intrest, as thier were some problems in the dormitories of boys hostel. But still the food and other quality of things were upto the mark and it's best experience to visit here.

Came here to attend a workshop the college quality of education is exceptionally good but the accomodation was pooorest I was literally sleeping on a matt on the floor for that they charged 350rs bruh like literally what not even a damn cot 0 to the hostel
