Student Reviews of National Institute of Technology Warangal: Ratings & Experiences- Hanamkonda

I stayed there for 10 days in Ramappa hostel. It's the biggest hostel of NITW which accommodates around 2000 students. Though it was one of India's oldest NITs, they don't have good hostel facilities and especially the food was really not satisfying. Even at the guest house, they don't have much variation. One good thing is, they have green infrastructure, maintaining grounds. The department of chemical engineering and biotechnology are in the same building. Most of the professors from the Biotechnology department are working in the area of waste water treatment and bioreactor designing. The secularism of students enriches its environment.

One of the top engineering institutes in India. The institute offers degrees in various courses for under graduation and post graduation (mtech). The premises holds the record of being the host of the largest hostel in South India till date holding 1800 rooms. The campus is spread over 250 odd acres providing the best possible facilities to students pursuing their education here.

NIT Warangal is one of the Best Colleges in India .NIT Campus located in Hanamkonda.The Regional Engineering College, Warangal was the first to be established (in 1959) among the chain of 15 Regional Engineering Colleges in the country.In September 2002, the college was renamed as National Institute of Technology and was given deemed university status. NITW was given the status of Institute of National Importance (INI) on 15 August 2007.

Very few NITs are connected to city and NITW is one of them. Atmosphere is really good and you don't need to worry for food and other stuffs, all of them is available at walking distance.

Actually I couldn't understand initially, but now it is really understood, because they want every kid to learn here and do practice. They are really practical, but I request management to solve some of the things, please we request to see Hostel rooms as we come for new admission, your administration department, but you did a good job as we are so happy, that you have provided good rooms facilities, but we request you to look at the Hostel food, it is really worse than anything, I had morning breakfast 🥞 it's ok, but the lunch is so bad as most of the students couldn't have and enjoy, 😞 and i request the management to keep Two speed breakers infront of the maingates on the big road, towards Hanamkonda and Hyderabad, because stupid people drive so fast on these roads, I don't think you realise and do it, still my duty, but please look in to the food section please make good and quality food for students..

Nice campus and nice faculty! Lot of of courses for the students next to the Hyderabad highway. Outside the campus lot of street foods in the evening!

I got Mtech seat here for gate score of 641. Gate rank 1567. Mtech ACS branch. Great faculty. But self study is required. Best college for studying in india.
