PDEU Naer PDPU Metro Station. On Gift city road. Atmosphere is environmental Friendly. PDEU was established as a Petroleum University in 2007 with a focus on fossil fuels and later emerged as India's only energy university in the year 2021, dedicated to energy education and research. Today, the university has marked its presence as a renowned institution with noteworthy national and international visibility. PDEU is aggresively contributing towards Nation's AatmaNirbharBharat Abhiyan.

I spent my 4 years at PDEU, good infrastructure, faculties are very supportive. It has good sports facilities, cleaning happens every day in entire college, so it's safe during Covid or usual days. Entire campus has centralized air conditioning system. PDEU has many clubs which organize many cultural events like Rangtaal which is garba night. Other events like Tesseract and Flare, sports competition like PetroCup. Transportation is not good as I expected but new metro project is underway but within 2 year it will be start functioning, it will fulfill transportation problem, labs are well equipped with up-to-date computers 🖥 and machineries, all labs are well equipped for research. Good culture and campus life. I hope this information is useful for you 🙂 😊. Have a great career ahead.

The School of Liberal Arts at PDEU exemplifies a commitment to fostering academic rigor and intellectual growth. During my recent visit as an external examiner to review master’s dissertations, I was impressed by the quality of both students and faculty. The infrastructure is modern and conducive to learning, featuring well-designed classrooms, advanced facilities, and collaborative spaces that encourage creativity and critical thinking. The library is a key resource, offering an extensive collection of academic materials and digital resources that support student research and inquiry. Campus life is dynamic and engaging, with various extracurricular activities that enhance the educational experience. Students actively participate in seminars, workshops, and cultural events, promoting a sense of community and collaboration. Teaching and learning activities are characterized by an interactive approach, with faculty members providing personalized guidance and mentorship. Their dedication to student development is evident in the comprehensive support offered throughout the academic journey. In summary, the School of Liberal Arts at PDEU provides a rich educational environment, nurturing aspiring scholars while maintaining high standards of academic excellence and community engagement.

Good campus and college with lush green trees. The Sports culture is one of the pillars of the university. Hostels , classrooms , mess , library and gardens. They are big and properly maintained. The festivals like Navratri and other local festivals are celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm. But teachers though not up to the standards of IIT or NIT's but they are good compared to other colleges and with other perks that come along, its a bitter sweet trade off.Placements , well , they are a headache in every stream , MBA including. But , tell me one college who is not IIT, NIT, DCE,IIM, IIFT or FMS and etc. where you get those big bucks. When you compare PDPU with the colleges its competing with and being so young , it has far more pros than cons. People , localities or non localities , they gel every well together in my opinion. Try befriending a Gujarati , they are really cool people and they have their own way of living a life. The fees is bit on the high side and the administration can do a better job.
