Established in 1982, Postgraduate Government College, Sector 46, is relatively young but offers an array of fine higher educational options in various streams namely Arts, Commerce and Computer Applications, with Honours in selected subjects. The college also offers masters in Commerce.Accredited with A by NAAC, the college has faculty with impeccable credentials and upgraded knowledge that prepares the students to become diligent citizens and hold leadership positions.

The college campus is big and spacious. It has has a big parking space, but it is paid parking even for the students. The location of the college is good but it is difficult to spot it while roaming around. As for the infrastructure, it is classic and elegant. The college has a nice auditorium, library, cafeteria and hang out area. In comparison to other colleges in Chandigarh, this college falls short on education quality, but in comparison to other colleges out side Chandigarh, this college is far superior. I loved studying here. The office staff can be a bit arrogant, but the teaching staff is the most friendliest of all colleges in Chandigarh. This college currently offers BA, BCOM, BCA, and M.COM.

Rating is only for auditorium. Amazing spacious seating, very comfortable. Held our cultural programme here. AC works well. Beautiful college premises with lots of plants and very clean. Washrooms need to be cleaner

Well, to be honest if someone want to study in this college then it's good for that person ... And even he want to enjoy his life and want to skip class then also it's very easy-breezy...IF TALK ABOUT facilities there is basic gym with basic fitness equipments & 2 large size play ground and overall it's average college + it's govt college which come under in PU... Yeah ONE MAIN POINT IS ...AT THIS COLLEGE YOUR NETWORK IS NOT GONNA WORK...specially Airtel...
