UG Programs (for B.Sc. Nursing)
- Eligibility: Completion of 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English is mandatory.
- Minimum Academic Requirement: A minimum aggregate of 50% marks for General category, 45% for PwD, and 40% for SC/ST/OBC students. Candidates must have also passed in English individually.

Diploma Programs (for GNM)

Furthermore, those with 10+2 with English and 40% marks in vocational ANM course (recognized by Indian Nursing Council) or Vocational Stream - Health care Science (from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre) can apply. Registered ANM with pass marks are also eligible.
- Minimum Age: 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year. Maximum age is 35 years (with no age bar for ANM/LHV candidates).
- Medical Fitness: Candidate should be medically fit.
- Entrance Exams: The GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE) conducted by Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) is required.
