Punjabi University, Patiala – Review ✅ Pros: Strong academics, especially in Punjabi studies Experienced faculty & diverse courses Affordable fees & green campus ❌ Cons: Average placements (varies by course) Hostel & admin services need improvement Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) – A good state university with strong research, but placements and infrastructure need work.

One of the beautiful University in Punjab. Their are lot of greenery and playgrounds for students and professors. Their are multiple hostels for students. I found it very calm place away from traffics ping pong. Which is big thing nowadays. Their are lots of eatery's as well. Where you can find almost everything. I found *Gol Market* which is large enough to hang out with friends.

Punjabi University, Patiala, is one of the leading educational institutions in Punjab, India, known for its rich academic heritage, diverse courses, and commitment to promoting the Punjabi language and culture. Established in 1962, the university has grown to become a significant center of higher education in the region, offering a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields such as arts, science, engineering, law, business, and social sciences. The campus itself is spacious, green, and well-maintained, providing a conducive environment for learning and personal growth. The infrastructure includes modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and sports facilities, ensuring students have access to all the resources they need for both academic and extracurricular development. The university is also known for its focus on research, innovation, and the promotion of Punjabi culture, with numerous departments dedicated to the study of the language, literature, history, and heritage of Punjab. The faculty at Punjabi University, Patiala, is highly qualified and experienced, with many professors contributing significantly to their respective fields. They provide a balanced approach to teaching, combining traditional academic methods with modern pedagogical techniques. This enables students to engage deeply with the subject matter while also developing critical thinking and analytical skills. A notable feature of the university is its emphasis on extracurricular activities. Students can participate in a variety of cultural, sports, and social events, which help in their all-round development. The university regularly hosts seminars, workshops, and conferences, providing students with opportunities to interact with experts and professionals from different domains. The student community is vibrant and diverse, and there is a strong sense of camaraderie among students from different backgrounds and disciplines. The university also maintains a good relationship with the local community, offering various outreach programs and social initiatives. On the downside, while the university is well-regarded, some students have mentioned that administrative processes can be a bit slow at times, and the campus can get crowded, especially during peak times. However, these are minor issues when compared to the overall experience. In conclusion, Punjabi University, Patiala, offers a high-quality education with a strong focus on both academic and cultural development. Its blend of tradition and modernity makes it a prestigious institution for students looking to excel in their respective fields while also connecting with the rich cultural heritage of Punjab.

University is in abysmal state, this is very concerning looking at condition of a State university. No cleanliness, GNDU although looks almost same with old Infra but still is better maintained. Went there nd spent some time, felt like place has very low energy. Some buildings from outside feels like they are abandoned. May be students wake up nd do collectively something about it.
