The campus is fairly big with open ground for sports and other activities. The college is coeducational. It offers popular courses like B.com, BCA, etc.., it offers Commerce and humanities courses. The courses are offered in two ways either government or management courses for which the classes are conducted in parallel. The canteen service is one of the worst, no seating arrangement, food is 3rd class. Toilets condition is of..... Oh god they call that toilet.... The infrastructure is of any other government college standards but this is not a simple government college as it has a history of its own, it was started by Rai bahadur Arcot Narrainswamy Modaliar, who was a businessman in bengaluru at around the late 19th and early 20th century. He started RBANMs group of institutions in 1873. Initially it was primary school but later expanded to middle school and then college. The college from the date of inception to till date has been educating the population from humble and workers class family. It is a Tamil college and most of the students enrolled here are from local Bengaluru Tamilian speaking population, that's why they offer Tamil has one of the subject here. The alumnis of this college have reached to very good positions both in government and private sector. The institution as motivated youth to join armed forces by its NCC wing (Army and Navy). NCC is offered starting from high school to college in RBANMs. The alumnis have a good connection with this college and they do still visit and contribute to its upliftment. All in all its situated next to Ulsoor Lake and in heart of Bengaluru. kamraj road, Lido mall (MG road), Trinity church, and Shivajinagar are nearby places.
