I would say - Quality & affordable education...Their Infrastructure is good and I'm very much impressed by their fees structure..The entrance of the campus consists of their old buildings and Infrastructure just don't get fooled by them ...The back campus hosts brand new Infrastructure and research facilities and many Infrastructures are under construction...The campus is also quiet Green and peaceful. The people are very approachable. Most importantly the hostel and mess fees too seems quite affordable for middle class people...The have many courses in collaboration with reputed Institutions of respective domains...All the best for doing education as a service 👏 👍....

Review: My Experience with SASTRA Polytechnic Admission Process (May 2025)Today, my wife visited SASTRA Polytechnic for my son's admission. My son completed his schooling under the CBSE curriculum in Dubai. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing and I feel it's important to share this so others are aware. From the very beginning, the admission team seemed disinterested to even communicate properly. Without much discussion, they refused admission stating that since my son studied CBSE abroad, they will not consider him for admission. I was surprised because, as per my understanding, NRI quota admissions are usually available in most reputed institutions. However, they insisted that even students from other Indian states are not entertained for admission into their polytechnic courses.Additionally, when we enquired about basic facilities like transport and medical support, they informed us that:No college bus facility is available. No hospital or medical facility is associated with the campus. No hostel facility is provided for Polytechnic students. If this is indeed the current policy, I feel this could be a major inconvenience for students, especially those coming from outside the local area or even from nearby towns. While rules and policies are their internal matter, the lack of willingness to even explain options or guide parents was disappointing. A polite explanation would have made a huge difference.I’m not sure if their statements about “no students from other states are admitted” is fully accurate, but this rigid approach may discourage genuine students who are willing to join.Summary:❌ No admission considered for CBSE (Abroad) students.❌ No NRI quota considered for Polytechnic.❌ No college bus transport.❌ No hostel facility.❌ No medical/hospital tie-up.❌ Very poor communication & response from the admission team.I hope this feedback helps other parents and students to be aware of the situation. Also, it would be good if the management looks into this and clarifies these points officially on their website or through proper channels.

Sastra University was not that good enough . When I took admission. Not a great college as compared to other deemed university. They dont groom people. Think twice or thrice before talking admission here. I am a ECE Graduate. I didn't get much support when I was graduated . Our batch faced a lot of problems.

Kindly avoid EEE dept. It is disaster to my son. He struggled a lot academically and personally. My biggest regret in life making my son studying in this college.Choose colleges wisely though cost more.VIT, SSN, PSG, SRM, Amrita are better.

The place where I learnt about failures and the way to overcome from those failures. Buildings were old when I was a student but now everything is changed new blocks, roads, labs and hostels. Such a good place to spend your UG life with guaranteed job🚀👍. One disadvantage is that convocation won't be held for all the students. If you want to take part in convocation then you shouldn't have history of arrears and cgpa of above 7.5.
