The Government has been gracious enough in enriching our departments through fresh recruits and allocating funds whenever there has been a justified requirement. Now we possess a digitized library which is being constantly re-developed, excellent laboratories that would only increase in competence and number in the coming days, separate departments with wi-fi connection and other technological amenities as required and most importantly, faculties who are scholars in their individual fields, experienced and highly motivated in the noble profession of educating and moulding young, receptive minds. This college is the corporeal embodiment of the vision of so many who more than six decades ago dreamt to lay the foundation for higher learning for students who come from the distant hinterlands of the Sundarbans, those who despite their unforgiving socioeconomic reality dare to dream big with wings of aspiration and ambition, empowered by proper education.
