UPES University provides an excellent learning environment. The infrastructure is modern and well-maintained, offering everything students need. The placement support is strong, with many reputed companies visiting the campus. The campus lifestyle is vibrant, with various clubs and events that help students grow beyond academics. The faculty is knowledgeable, supportive, and always ready to guide students. Overall, UPES is a great place for both personal and professional growth.

What a CAMPUS. It’s the stuff that we only saw in the movies. Well maintained, clean campus, scenic routes and good facilities. It’s a bit away from the main city and that’s the way how it should be. Located in the midst of the mountain range - they have their own hostel campus that I personally believe is good for the first year to help new students get adjusted into hostel life.

I strongly advise students and parents to think twice before considering admission to UPES. While the university boasts a scenic campus and a wide array of courses, the reality of life here is far from what is marketed. The administrative system is highly unresponsive and often inefficient. Simple issues can take weeks or even months to get resolved, if they’re addressed at all.The teaching quality varies greatly from department to department, and many students feel that the curriculum is outdated and not aligned with current industry standards. Placement statistics are often misleading, and many students end up struggling to find relevant job opportunities despite having paid high tuition fees. Career support services are minimal, and student concerns are frequently ignored.Extracurricular activities and student initiatives are also poorly managed. While there are occasional events, they rarely contribute meaningfully to student growth or exposure. It often feels like the focus is more on projecting an image than actually improving the student experience. Please don’t be swayed by the glossy brochures or promotional campaigns. Speak with real students and alumni before making a decision. In my honest opinion, UPES is not worth the investment of your time, energy, or money.

Based on the first glimpse (OPEN DAY 2025)The campus was clean, however the hostels were expensive for what they are.The organisation of cabs for the exploration of the campus buildings were not sufficient, thus parents and their children had to scramble/walk here and there. The labs looked really good too. This review is only based on only outside looks.

This review is about the campus experience, not the academic side of things.I recently had the chance to visit the UPES Dehradun campus along with a few friends. One of my close friends is a professor here and has often spoken about how beautiful and unique the campus is. I finally got to see it for myself - and I have to say, it’s truly impressive. The setting is absolutely serene. As you approach the entrance, you're greeted by a stunning view of the surrounding mountains - it’s almost cinematic. The campus itself is massive, with well-planned layouts, open green spaces, and a peaceful vibe that makes it feel more like a retreat than a university. My friend was kind enough to give us a full tour, and I took plenty of photos (attached with this review). Walking around, you can’t help but appreciate how thoughtfully the space is designed - it blends beautifully with nature.Even the road leading up to the university is a treat, winding through scenic landscapes that make the journey itself enjoyable. Based on the overall atmosphere, the views, and my friend’s own positive experiences working here, I’m happy to give this place a solid 5/5.If you're ever in Dehradun and appreciat beautiful campuses, it's definitely worth a visit.

As a first-year student at UPES, I have had a positive experience so far when it comes to academics and the overall campus environment. The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, and many of them bring real-world insights into the classroom, which makes learning more practical and engaging. The infrastructure is modern—classrooms are well-equipped, and there are plenty of study spaces across the campus. The library is great for focused study sessions, and the Wi-Fi coverage is decent in most areas. The campus itself is beautiful and peaceful, with a scenic view of the hills that adds to the whole vibe.Overall, UPES provides a solid academic foundation with a campus that supports both learning and relaxation.

UPES is a great place to study! The campus is very pretty and full of trees and nature, which makes it peaceful and relaxing. The teachers are helpful and know their subjects well. There are also fun events and activities along with studies. The food in the canteens has also gotten better. I really enjoyed my time here.
