It is located at South Ambazari it has 3 gates the institute has great campus and infrastructure it has proper security protocol for the students the campus has hospital, shops, library, multi activity hall, cultural ground, sports complex (indoor and outdoor) separate and a separate hostel for girls and boys it has a facility of ATM and a bank too, there are two canteens and the quality of food is very good at a very affordable rate the college also provides guest house facility for parents who comes to visit their children. For the proper mental health of students the counselling facility is provided to the students.

Beautiful college with lots of greenery. One of the top NITs of our country. Well advanced classroom facilities and highly qualified faculty. The hostels are very well maintained and clean. Mess food is not that great, however there are lot of restaurants just outside the campus. Placements for CSE, mechanical are fine but for the other branches, it's very bad.

One of the best NIT situated in the center of the India, Nagpur. The campus is very green, clean and beautiful. Though the Bus connectivity to the most part of the city isn't good from the campus. But both VNIT's main canteen and Night canteen are very cool. Hostels are very neat, clean and have enough space for games. Ambazari river is also nearby from Yashvantnagar Gate of the campus. VNIT also has a abandoned MIG-21 jet.
