Number Of Attempts

Before preparing for JAC Delhi Joint Admission Committee Delhi Entrance Exam 2025, it’s essential to know if there’s a cap on the number of attempts. Admissions through JAC Delhi are based on the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) scores. Most national-level examinations, including JEE Main, allow candidates multiple attempts. As per the National Testing Agency guidelines for JEE Main, candidates can attempt the examination up to six times within a span of three consecutive years, starting from the year they pass their Class 12 examinations. This is because JEE Main is conducted twice a year, typically in January and April. For JAC Delhi, there are no separate restrictions on the number of attempts beyond those set for JEE Main. Candidates should ensure they meet the JEE Main eligibility criteria regarding attempts to be considered for JAC Delhi counselling. No specific category-based relaxations are mentioned for the number of attempts for JEE Main or JAC Delhi.

Attempt Restrictions

Admission is based on the scores of JEE Main (Paper 1 for B.Tech, Paper 2A for B.Arch), UCEED (for B.Des), and NATA (for B.Arch) obtained in the current academic year.
