Age Limit And Relaxation
Before applying for TS EAMCET 2025, it’s important to check the age criteria set by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). For Engineering and most Pharmacy courses, candidates must have completed a minimum of 16 years of age as of December 31 of the admission year, with no specified upper age limit. However, for specific courses such as Bachelor of Technology in Dairy Technology, Agricultural Engineering, or Food Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Commercial Agriculture and Business Management, the minimum age requirement is 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year. For these particular courses, the upper age limit for general category candidates is 22 years. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories applying to these specified Bachelor of Technology and Bachelor of Science courses, the upper age limit is relaxed to 25 years. Knowing the age rules in advance ensures you apply within the permitted criteria and make full use of any relaxation benefits.
Ts Eamcet Category Wise Criteria
TS EAMCET 2025 may offer relaxations for candidates belonging to specific reserved categories as per Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) guidelines. Benefits may include reduced qualifying marks, extended age limits for certain courses, or fee concessions. For instance, while General, Other Backward Classes, and Backward Classes candidates need to secure at least 25% of the maximum marks in TS EAMCET to be included in the rank list, there is no minimum qualifying mark for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates for rank list inclusion. To avail these benefits, candidates must upload valid and up-to-date category certificates, income certificates (if applicable), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificates (if applicable) during the online registration process. Verification of these documents will follow the official protocol set by the authority during the counselling process. By understanding and following the process, eligible candidates can make full use of the category-based benefits available for TS EAMCET.

Number Of Attempts
Before preparing for TS EAMCET 2025, it’s essential to know if there’s a cap on the number of attempts. Unlike some national-level exams such as UPSC, JEE Advanced, or CLAT UG which impose restrictions, the authorities for TS EAMCET have not set any limits on the number of times a candidate can appear for the examination. This means candidates can attempt the TS EAMCET any number of times if they wish to improve their scores or seek admission in subsequent years. However, it is important to remember that the TS EAMCET examination is conducted only once annually. Therefore, to attempt the exam more than once, candidates would need to appear in consecutive examination years, subject to fulfilling the other eligibility criteria for each respective year. Being aware of this unlimited attempt policy helps you plan your preparation strategy effectively.
