Army Institute of Law offers over two courses at UG and PG levels in the stream of Law. The Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws (BA LLB) is the flagship course of Army Institute of Law, offered based on AIL Law Entrance Test (AIL LET) scores. Besides, AIL also offers postgraduate programs like the Master of Laws (LLM). This college provides one (1) UG course and one (1) PG course. The LLM program at AIL focuses on Family Law and Criminal Law specializations. The BA LLB is a five-year integrated program, while the LLM is a one-year postgraduate degree. Tuition for these programs at this esteemed institute ranges from ₹1,40,000 - ₹2,20,000 per year for BA LLB and ₹1,45,000 - ₹2,00,000 per year for LLM (College Fee, excluding Hostel Fee). The BA LLB admits 120 students (96 via AIL LET for Wards of Army Personnel, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force and All India General Category; 24 for Punjab Residents Civil Category based on 10+2 merit), and the LLM has 15 seats.

UG Programs (Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws)

• Eligibility: Completion of 10+2 examination from Punjab School Education Board or any other equivalent examination recognized by Punjabi University, Patiala, securing at least 45% marks. Candidates who have obtained 10+2 through open university systems directly, without having any basic qualifications, are not eligible for the BA LLB at this college.
• Entrance Exams: Admission is primarily through the AIL Law Entrance Test (AIL LET). For Punjab Residents Civil Category, admission is based on 10+2 merit via centralized online counselling conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
• Documents: Transcripts, mark sheets, a motivation letter, and letters of recommendation if applicable are generally required.

PG Programs (Master of Laws)

• Eligibility: A recognized undergraduate degree, specifically a BA LLB (5 years) or LLB (3 years), from a recognized university, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
• Entrance Exams: Some programs, like the LLM, may require standardized tests such as the AIL Law Entrance Test (AIL LET).
