Situated near the medical college Hospital kozhikode district is an institution which is run by the kerala government.It has easy access by road and has bus services available as well.It deals with mental health and neuro science.Has got well qualified ,well experienced doctors & therapists.They treat adults as well as kids.In a week two days ( Saturday & Wednesday)are allotted for the diagnosis & treatment of only kids & rest days are for adults.Even though doctors & therapist are highly efficient,it’s difficult to get near dates for the next visit.But still highly recommended...Since its run by government,it’s totally free..!!! which is a big big help for common man.

I have had the privilege of being part of this institution for a short period. The facilities and services are good even though I got opportunities to attend several seminars and workshops conducted there. The experience has been enriching, challenging, and ultimately rewarding.

Best in Mental health support. A government autonomous institution which follows professionalism it's service to the stakeholders. The multidisciplinary team is ready and equipped to provide the supportive interventions. Various departments, projects aiming at treatment, mental health education, rehabilitation, and training to trainers and students.

It is a mental autonomous mental health institution. It is a institute of Mphil in clinical psychiatry and psychiatric social work. It is a government funded institution. There is about 3 psychiatrists , occupational therapist, clinical psychologist,psychiatric social worker, medical officer, neurology lab, psychiatric nurse. And many Msw and Msc Psychology students from various part pf kerla do internship in the institution. IMHANS provide only In patient facility no admit and care.

I had a great exposure overall every area of IMHANS while i was practicing my field work days as part of my academic curriculum of MSW. The supervision got from the faculties and as well as M.phil students throughout the field work days were quite remarkable. The only drawback i felt was there is no IP facility and no canteen facility., hope it would be fixed soon.

Very good surrounding with trees. Calm and quite place, chirping of birds. It's situated near the medical college and there are many staffs and doctors here.And I would like to say that we people should make use of such facilities coz it's fully free and I think that they provide good counciling. Make use of good things and as it's situated in the middle of Calicut it's very easy to get here. As it's covid time we need to maintain the quee to enter. I feel very comfort and good.

Good services from staff. But if it was situated within the town limit(I meant, easily accessible from railway station or bust stand) it would be a great thing. Because as it is situated some more far from medical college roundabout, most of the people have to approach autorikshaw services and for common man who wants to avail daily sessions from there it will be an expensive thing. Those who have vehicles of their own,this matter doesn’t affect them . And most of the services utilising from there would be differently Abled people and their care takers. Or else if our state/central govt provide a transport service to and from these transport hubs to imhans, it would be of great use.
