I visited MG University, Kottayam, to collect my certificate. The campus is calm and well-maintained, surrounded by greenery. The certificate section was a bit crowded, but the staff were helpful in guiding through the process. It did take some time, so patience is definitely needed. Proper documents and ID proof were checked, and once everything was verified, the process went smoothly. There's a waiting area, but it could be better managed. Overall, it was a decent experience — just make sure to go early to avoid long queues.

Negative Review for MG University – May 2025 ExperienceI had a very disappointing experience with MG University in May 2025. I tried contacting the university multiple times via phone, but there was no response at all. After several attempts, I was informed that there had been a small fire, which was given as the reason for the lack of response. However, even a month later, the issue persisted — calls were still not answered.I also sent multiple emails to follow up, but received no reply whatsoever. For a reputed university, this level of communication is completely unacceptable. Students and applicants rely on timely and professional responses, especially when their future depends on it.I strongly believe that the university’s communication and administrative policies need urgent revision. There should be better systems in place for handling emergencies, responding to inquiries, and maintaining transparency with the public.This experience has greatly damaged my trust in the university’s management and professionalism.

This is the sprawling campus of Mahatma Gandhi University. It will become a favorite place for everyone who comes here.

Mahatma Gandhi University is situated in Athirampuzha, approximately 12 kilometers from Kottayam town. While it may be considered a relatively smaller university, it boasts highly qualified faculty members. However, in terms of overall activity and engagement, it falls short when compared to other institutions. Cultural and co-curricular activities are somewhat limited, and the university's hostel facilities are average at best. The university campus itself requires better maintenance and utilization of funds, especially in administrative aspects. On a positive note, the hostel's library facilities are commendable. Unfortunately, there are no stationary stores within the university premises, and the canteen offerings are merely satisfactory.

I have only visited mg university once I studied under this university. So for my certificate clarifications when i went there i had a good experience. I reached there at 10:00AM and the office opened at the correct time at 10:30. The staff and especially the guards were very helpful and friendly.. Overall the university had an eco-friendly atmosphere with a lot of trees and forests.

After reading those reviews, l went there hoping that it would be a worse experience as others mentioned about there services and staff behaviour. But I think its pretty much changed now. I just went there for applying provisional certificate. After filling the forms and application  I approached the office, then its happened not the way I expected. Staffs are very helpful and informative, by giving the right steps Its all over in a little bit of time. If you have the correct paperwork then it will be much more easier,And if you don't then just ask at the enquiry.There are also a few things didn't changed from the beginning, like unanswered calls, overcharged documents and services , delays in publishing results, and the irresponsibility towards online applications etc.The infrastructure and the environment are great,peaceful atmosphere with green surroundings. University is situated far from the town. There are many private bus routes around it than the public transport.

Public university in Kerala which offers various streams. Some notable alumini's are from MG University. Located at Athirampuzha in Kottayam. Good campus. Undergraduate and postgraduate courses and also have distant education as well.The telephone numbers provided in Google or other sites are most probably not working or disconnected or they may not answer the calls. This must be taken into consideration as areas of affiliated colleges for MG University is spread to the nearby districts as well which will be very helpful to the students. The help desk phone number is just for a name sake.Some staffs really need to honoured for their support and guidance they provide to students and others seeking them. They will clearly guide is to the concerned department or do the needful for the same. The way they behave itself should be appreciated,where some are very irresponsible, not cooperating and some are very harsh in the way they talk to people like they are doing something strange. And some don't like asking questions to them regarding the doubts we have.So many students face issues in recieving their certificates properly on time which will affect their future studies and other endeavours. Even if the payment is done for 'Fastrack'.If the things are done in good and excellent way this will be the one of the best University in Kerala.Coordination between departments can have smooth handling. If we want to get things done easier party or recommendations will be best and can get things done within a day.
