Gate Exam Day Guidelines
- To enter the GATE 2025 exam hall, you must carry specific documents for identity verification and authorization. Adhering to these requirements is compulsory, and failure to do so can lead to denied entry, irrespective of your registration status. Candidates are advised to prepare these documents well in advance to avoid any last-minute stress or complications. The primary document required is your printed GATE 2025 admit card. While a black and white printout might suffice, carrying a colored copy is highly recommended as it ensures the clarity and legibility of your photograph and other critical details. Along with the admit card, you must present a valid original photo identification document. Acceptable IDs include your Aadhar Card, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or College ID, provided it is original and not expired. A passport-size photograph, identical to the one uploaded during your GATE 2025 application, is also mandatory to be affixed in the designated space on the admit card or carried separately if instructed. Furthermore, candidates applying under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category must carry their original PwD certificate issued by the competent authority. It is imperative to note that digital copies of any document or expired identification proofs will not be accepted under any circumstances. Missing any of these may result in denied entry, so double-check your exam kit in advance.
- Carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID.
- Bring one recent passport-size photograph identical to the uploaded one.
- If applicable, carry original PwD certificate issued by competent authority.
